Angelo Gonsalves SHRM-CP, CPHR has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Angelo began their career as a Customer Service Agent at e-Serve (Citigroup) from 2000 to 2002. Angelo then joined Qatar Airways in 2002, where they held various roles including Cabin Service Director, Cabin Services Instructor, Senior Training and Development Specialist, and Performance Manager. During their time at Qatar Airways, Angelo was responsible for managing cabin crew performance, delivering training programs, and ensuring high standards of personalized in-flight services. In 2021, they joined Lusail Hospitality and Services as the Training and Development In-Charge, where they led a team of trainers and curriculum designers, developed and launched the LHS Academy, and facilitated needs assessments. Currently, Angelo is working at the Public Works Authority 'Ashghal' in Qatar as the Learning and Development Lead for the Assets Affairs Department, where they are involved in manpower planning and liaising with clients.
Angelo Gonsalves SHRM-CP, CPHR completed a Bachelor of Arts in History/Sociology from St.Anne's High School from 1987 to 1996. Subsequently, from 1998 to 2001, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in History/Sociology from St. Andrew's College of Arts, Science, and Commerce. Additionally, Angelo Gonsalves has obtained several certifications, including SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from SHRM in December 2021, Project Management Professional (PMP®) from the Project Management Institute in January 2021, Assoc CIPD from CIPD in 2016, and EQAC - Emotional Intelligence Accessor Certification from Six Seconds in 2019. Moreover, they have achieved the EQPC- Emotional Intelligence Practitioner Certificate from 6 Seconds SEA in 2014 and the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines and Spirits from WSET - Wine & Spirit Education Trust in 2015.
