Aci Scott Patterson

Scott Patterson, ACI has extensive work experience in the field of home and commercial inspections. Scott founded Trace Inspections, LLC in 1994 and served as the owner, inspector, and CEO of the company. Scott provided full-service home and commercial inspections, including EPA electronic CRM Radon testing, and operated in Tennessee and Mississippi.

In 1997, Scott became a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), and later served as the president of the organization in 2019.

From 1997 onwards, Scott also worked as a contract inspector for SGS, where they conducted export/custom inspections of consumer and commercial products. Scott held this position until September 2020.

Additionally, Scott worked as a contract inspector for Broadlands Financial Group from 2006 to 2012.

Before entering the home inspection industry, Scott had a career as a buyer for Merchantile Stores (Gayfers), where they specialized in purchasing Crystal China and Housewares. Scott held this position from 1981 to 1993.

Scott Patterson, ACI graduated from the University of Houston in 1981 with a focus on Hotel Restaurant Culinary arts. In 2016, they obtained 18 CE Hours certification from the Institute for Credentialing Excellence.
