Dr. David Schwarz grew up in New York City and lives in Holliston, MA today. He received both an undergraduate degree and a veterinary degree from Cornell University, in 1973 and 1976 respectively. Prior to founding Ashland Animal Hospital in 1997, Dr. Schwarz practiced veterinary medicine in Rochester, NY. He is a past president of the Massachusetts Veterinary Medical Association (MVMA) and now serves as Veterinary Services Team leader for the State of Massachusetts Animal Response Team (SMART).
Dr. Schwarz loves veterinary medicine; it's his passion. In his free time, he enjoys gardening and community service. He also has six dogs and two cats that keep him busy.
