Mark Ropel

Mark Ropel, CPCU, ARM has a diverse and extensive work experience in the finance and risk management industry. Mark is currently the Director of Risk Management at Ashley Furniture Industries, a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to this, Mark worked at Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC, where they held several roles including Senior Risk Manager from February 2019 to February 2023, Risk Manager from September 2013 to February 2019, and Finance Leadership Development Program participant from January 2012 to September 2013. Mark also gained valuable experience as an Internal Audit Intern at CUNA Mutual Group in 2010, and as a Bond Claims Intern at the same company in 2009. Their work history reflects a strong background in risk management, finance, and leadership.

Mark Ropel, CPCU, ARM, holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting and Risk Management & Insurance from the Wisconsin School of Business and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In addition, they have obtained certifications as a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) from The Institutes.
