Karnav Popat

Karnav Popat is currently a Research Assistant at Ashoka University, collaborating with the Centre for Digitalisation, AI & Society under Professors Subhashis Banerjee and Anustubh Agnihotri since April 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Intern under the Mphasis Research Grant with Professor Debayan Gupta, and multiple internships at Amuse Labs and other organizations, focusing on strategy and research in digital health. Educational background features a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Economics from Ashoka University, following a foundational education at Don Bosco School in Kolkata. Karnav's internships also encompass experience at EY, the Centre for Economic Data & Analysis, and the Trivedi Centre for Political Data, showcasing a diverse skill set in research, strategy, and software engineering.
