Warren Shipton is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in higher education. Currently serving as an Associate Journal Editor and Professor at Asia-Pacific International University since 2017, Warren previously held the position of President at the same institution from February 2006 to July 2010, successfully guiding the university to achieve its status in 2009. Warren has a long tenure at James Cook University, where a progression from Lecturer to Associate Professor, including a role as Dean of Science overseeing eleven departments, occurred from July 1969 to December 2005. Educational qualifications include a BSCAgr (Hon 1) and PhD in Plant Pathology/Phytopathology from the University of Sydney, a DpBact in Medical Microbiology and Bacteriology from The University of Manchester, an MEd in Education from James Cook University, and a DipEd in Education from the University of Western Australia.
