Hasantha Uswatta

Hasantha Uswatta, CFA, serves as the Head of Principal Investment Strategies and Alternatives at Asia Securities since May 2025. Prior experience includes Associate Director of Investments at the Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility, where Hasantha facilitated equity and debt financing for projects in northern Australia. Previously, Hasantha was a Manager in Deal Advisory at KPMG, advising on infrastructure portfolios and mergers, and held various roles at HSBC managing corporate relationships and performing credit analysis. Early career experience includes serving as an Associate Vice President at Acuity Knowledge Partners, along with internships in public relations and microfinance promotion. Hasantha holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore and a Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
