Saqib Sheikh

Saqib Sheikh is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research, project management, teaching, and communications. Currently serving as a Visiting Researcher at the Asian Strategy & Leadership Institute and Project Director for the Rohingya Project, Saqib leads initiatives aimed at financial inclusion for stateless individuals. A contributing writer for Asia Times, Saqib shares insights on international politics and humanitarian issues. Past roles include Senior Teaching Fellow at Sunway University, Lecturer at Xiamen University Malaysia, and Programme Manager at the Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development. Saqib's educational background includes pursuing a PhD at the S.
