Hannah Cheyney

Hannah Cheyney is an experienced educator and program manager with a strong background in mentoring and volunteer management. Currently serving as the Mentoring Program & Volunteer Manager at Asian American LEAD since November 2021, Hannah previously held roles including Teacher at Childcare Network, Inc. and Program Coordinator at America Reads, where responsibilities included hiring and training tutors. Hannah’s educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Elon University, complemented by hands-on experience as a student intern at various elementary schools and as a Teacher Assistant in Pre-K and elementary settings. Additional experience encompasses roles as a Camp Counselor and Cashier, highlighting diverse skills in communication and classroom management.
