Marife Apilado

Marife Apilado is the Director of the Portfolio Management Division at the Asian Development Bank. Marife has over 20 years of experience in the banking and finance industry.

Marife started their career at Citibank in 1996 as Vice President of the Asia Pacific Analytic Center. Marife then moved to the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) in 1992, where they served as Vice President of Corporate Banking. In 1988, they joined CITYTRUST INVESTMENTS GROUP LIMITED as Vice President of Corporate Banking.

Marife has a wealth of experience in both corporate and retail banking, as well as in credit and risk management. Marife is a highly respected figure in the banking industry, and their appointment as Director of the Portfolio Management Division at the Asian Development Bank is a testament to their expertise and experience.

Marife Apilado reports to Suzanne Gaboury, Director General, Private Sector Operations Department. They work with Christine Engstrom - Director, Financial Institution Division, Christopher Thieme - Deputy Director General, and Janette Hall - Director, Investment Funds & Special Initiatives Division.
