Swapan Kumar

Swapan Kumar currently serves as an E & S Consultant at the Asian Development Bank since May 2024. Previously, Swapan held the position of Vice President focusing on Sustainability, Climate Change, and ESG at Accenture from August 2021 to April 2024. Additionally, Swapan co-founded Neojourney.io during the same period, contributing until April 2024. Swapan has extensive experience in sustainability roles, including serving as a Member of the Advisory Board at the SDG Foundation from May 2017 to August 2021, and as a Sustainability & ESG Consultant at Trikha Advisory during the same timeframe. Other notable positions include Honorary Regional Director at CASI Global New York and Executive Board Member-Vice President & Chair of the Global Development Committee at Asherah Foundation. Swapan's career also includes leadership roles in environmental and sustainability practices at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Hindustan Zinc, and GE. Academically, Swapan holds a Master of Science in Metallurgical Engineering with a minor in Environmental Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno, and various other qualifications in health, safety, and environmental disciplines.
