Jenny Wong

Jenny Wong has an extensive work experience in the media and entertainment industry. Jenny started their career in 1997 as Legal Affairs Manager at Star TV. After two years, they moved to Chinadotcom as Legal Counsel. In 2000, they joined The Walt Disney Company as Senior Manager, Business & Legal Affairs (Television), Asia Pacific and was promoted to Director, Business & Legal Affairs (Studios), Asia Pacific and then to Executive Director, Business & Legal Affairs (Studios), Asia Pacific. In 2011, they joined Goodyear as Senior Counsel, Asia Pacific and then in 2013, they moved to WarnerMedia as Executive Director, Public Policy Asia Pacific. In 2018, they joined Universal Pictures as Vice President, Legal Affairs Greater China. In 2019, they joined IFPI (representing the recording industry worldwide) as Regional Director, Asia Pacific and in 2017, they joined American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong (AmCham HK) as Member Board of Governors. Currently, they are the Head of Corporate Administration at Opulous.

Jenny Wong began their educational journey at Bishop Strachan School from 1986 to 1989. Jenny then attended Western University from 1989 to 1991, where they earned a BA in Economics. Following this, they attended York University - Osgoode Hall Law School from 1991 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Laws. In 2022, they completed a Certificate from the University of Toronto in The 360 Corporation: Tools for Achieving Corporate Purpose.
