Vinay Deodhar

Vinay Deodhar is a seasoned Climate Change Specialist with extensive experience in climate change mitigation and adaptation. Currently serving as a Climate Change Specialist Resource Person at the Asian Development Bank since March 2021, Vinay reviews Green Building Certification Schemes and National Building Codes across developing member countries. With a history of engaging in various roles at ADB, including the development of methodologies for GHG emissions estimation, Vinay also holds a position on the Regulatory Committee at the Global Carbon Council. As a Partner at ReNewClimate Strategies LLP and Director at Clean Tech Solutions, Vinay contributes to sustainability practices. Educational qualifications include a B. Tech. in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and an M. M. S. in Business Management from the University of Mumbai, along with additional studies in Spanish and financial structures for CDM projects.
