Hamid Sharif

Hamid Sharif currently serves as a Partner at Samdani Qureshi Aqlaal since January 2024 and has held the position of Managing Director at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank since June 2016, overseeing compliance, effectiveness, and integrity. Prior experience includes the role of Country Director for the People's Republic of China Resident Mission at the Asian Development Bank from August 2008 to June 2016, where responsibilities included leading procurement policy and project administration. Hamid Sharif was also a Representative at The Asia Foundation from 2005 to 2007. Educational qualifications consist of an LL.B from the University of Cambridge (1981-1982) and a BA in Law from Kingston University (1978-1981), along with a high school education at Mundella School (1971-1976).
