Seleha Lockwood

Seleha Lockwood is a seasoned climate strategy and policy professional with extensive experience in leading climate finance initiatives and renewable energy projects. Currently serving as a Senior Climate Strategy and Policy Specialist at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, Seleha has successfully delivered a Climate Action Plan presented at the bank's Annual Meeting in September 2023. Previously, as the CEO/Founder of Inspiring Sustainability, Seleha facilitated climate finance for developing countries. At the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), Seleha managed a renewable energy funding facility that garnered over $917 million in financial mobilization for sustainable projects benefiting millions across various countries. Other roles include significant contributions as a Climate Change Adviser at Sindicatum Sustainable Resources, enhancing emission reduction methodologies at UNFCCC, and conducting market analysis for emerging automotive markets at IHS Markit and World Markets Research Centre. Seleha holds an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London and a BA (Hons) in Economics with Development Studies from the University of Sussex.
