Attaphongse Taparugssanagorn

Attaphongse Taparugssanagorn is an Associate Professor at the Asian Institute of Technology. Attaphongse has also worked as a research scientist at the Centre for Wireless Communications in Oulu, Finland and as a telecommunication engineer for Siemens Information Systems Ltd. in Thailand.

Taparugssanagorn's research has focused on UTRA FDD Tx diversity solutions for multiple antennas, specifically the implementation and improvement of the algorithm for Tx antenna-diversity technics. Attaphongse has also worked on transmission network planning, commissioning for SDH products, and digital echo cancellers.

Some of their notable projects include the Arcor Project for Mannesmann Arcor in Frankfurt, the 800k Project for Telephone Organisation of Thailand, the AIS Project for GSM Network of Advance Info Service Thailand, and the TA Project for Telephone Network for Telecom Asia.

Attaphongse Taparugssanagorn has a PhD in Wireless Communications from the University of Oulu, an MSc in Telecommunication engineering from the University of Kaiserslautern, and a B Eng in Electrical engineering from Chulalongkorn University.
