Avishek Datta

Avishek Datta is an Associate Professor at the Asian Institute of Technology. Avishek has over two years of experience working as an Assistant Manager at Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Private Limited, where they worked on consulting assignments in areas such as GTM proposals, Portfolio analysis, Benchmarking, Internal capability assessment and Digital transformation.

Datta also managed the internal innovation program and external start-up accelerator run by Bosch India. Avishek planned the entire 16 week program, including marketing, branding and communication, shortlisting external partners, and scouting and selecting suitable start-ups from over 500 applications. Additionally, they delivered a business proposal for a greenfield project with revenue potential of EUR 20 million to Bosch Asia Pacific leadership.

During their time at Bosch, Datta also conducted a strategic review for a global automotive account with USD 35mn revenue. Avishek delivered a growth strategy, competency roadmap, success criteria and governance plan to achieve 2X client R&D revenue share in next 3 years.

Avishek Datta has a Master of Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management in Ranchi. Avishek's strategy and marketing majors at the school focused on business growth in India. Avishek also has a Bachelor of Technology from the West Bengal University of Technology in Kolkata. Avishek's electronics and communication engineering degree prepared him for a career in telecommunications. In addition, they have certification from the Project Management Institute in Agile Foundations and from UC Berkeley and BMC in Business Model Innovation.
