Ananya Upadhyaya

Ananya Upadhyaya currently serves as a Sub Editor at Asian News International (ANI) since July 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Trainee Sub-editor at Financial Express (India) from July 2022 to February 2023, and as a Research Intern at Newslaundry where Ananya contributed to a research report on the representation of marginalized caste groups in Indian media. Additional experiences encompass content writing with Wonder House Books, an editorial internship at Pinkquill, and a short-term internship with the Public Grievance Cell of the Government of Delhi. Ananya's academic qualifications include a Diploma in Journalism from St. Xavier's College, a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from Indira Gandhi National Open University, and a Bachelor of Arts Honours in English Literature from Zakir Husain P.G. Evening College.
