Abhishek Rauniyar, MPH, MS, currently serves as an Interpreter at the ASIAN PACIFIC DEVELOPMENT CENTER, specializing in Bhojpuri, Nepali, and Hindi languages across various settings. Previously, Abhishek held significant roles at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, including Epidemiology Branch Manager and COVID-19 Contact Investigator, contributing to the state's response and data management during the pandemic. Abhishek's experience includes research and coordination positions at the University of Colorado, as well as project management with stakeholders addressing children's mental health in rural India. Abhishek's educational credentials include a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in progress and multiple advanced degrees in public health and biomedical sciences.

Mission: The Asian Pacific Development Center is a community-based, nonprofit, 501 (c) (3) organization founded in 1980 to serve the needs of a growing population of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AA/PI) residents throughout Colorado. APDC operates a licensed Community Mental Health Clinic designated by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, innovative Health Promotion and Youth Programs , and a multicultural Interpreters Bank . A trained professional staff provides Culturally Competent services that include: assessment and evaluation, individual and group counseling; case management services; victim assistance services; mentorship, after school, and youth leadership programs; health promotion; interpretation/translation services; as well as cultural competency training and consultation. Services provided are linguistically and culturally appropriate.
