Astha Walia

Astha Walia is an Executive II in the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) department at Asian Paints since August 2022. Walia's professional experience includes a research internship at North Carolina State University focusing on urban ecology in Delhi and a project internship at the Wildlife Institute of India, contributing to national projects aimed at climate change effects and wildlife recovery. Previous experience also includes a research trainee position at Delhi University, working on engineered biocompatible nanoarchitectures. Walia holds an M.Sc. in Environment Management from the Forest Research Institute, a Post Graduate Diploma in Environment Law and Policy from WWF and National Law University, and a B.Sc. in Zoology Honors from Hansraj College.
