Kirsten Simpson

Kirsten Simpson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in responsible investment and corporate governance. As a Corporate Governance Consultative Panel Member at ASIC since October 2022 and an ISSB Investor Advisory Group Member at the International Sustainability Standards Board since March 2022, Kirsten actively contributes to the development of sustainability standards. Currently serving as Executive Director and Head of Responsible Investment at Future Fund, and previously as Manager of Investment Stewardship and ESG, Kirsten has also held leadership roles at VicSuper and Natural Capital Declaration. With a strong academic background, including a Master’s degree in Environment from the University of Melbourne and additional qualifications in company directors and private markets investment, Kirsten brings a wealth of expertise in environmental science and sustainable finance.
