Mari Tibbetts

Mari Tibbetts has a diverse work experience in the fashion industry. Mari currently serves as the Creative Director of Global Apparel Creation at ASICS Corporation since 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Design - Apparel and Equipment at ASICS America Corporation from 2015 to 2022, where they played a crucial role in rebuilding ASICS' standard in apparel and creating efficiency in the design department. Mari also worked as the Director of Design Fabletics (Mens FL2 Division) at JustFab Inc. from 2014 to 2015. Additionally, they served as the Chief Designer and Sr. Designer at Ellie Fashion Group Inc. from 2012 to 2014. Earlier in their career, they held positions at Alo Yoga, Three Dots LLC, Olympus New York Fashion Week 2006, and worked as a contractor/freelancer at Gap Inc./Old Navy and The North Face. Mari started their career as a Tennis Professional at OCTA- Orange County Tennis Academy from 2000 to 2002.

Mari Tibbetts completed their BFA in Graphic Design at Chapman University from 1998 to 2001. Following that, they pursued their MFA in Fashion Design at the Academy of Art University from 2003 to 2006.
