Matthew Maloney

Matt Maloney is a seasoned professional in the fields of animation and creative direction, currently serving as Creative Director at Black Rainbow Media since January 2018. Maloney has a long-standing affiliation with the Savannah College of Art and Design, where roles include Associate Chair of Animation, Professor of Animation, Associate Dean, and Academic Director of the School of Film, Digital Media, and Animation since December 2005, overseeing the largest on-site department at SCAD Atlanta. Additionally, Maloney is the owner of MT Maloney Custom Jewelry and Skullworks, a web-based custom jewelry company specializing in skull jewelry, since August 2010. With a career that began in freelance animation and creative development in June 1998, Maloney has also held positions such as Department Chair at the School of Communication Arts and Indy Filmmaker at Stop Motion from 2001 to 2003.
