Erika Berzins

Erika Berzins has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Erika is currently the Head of Finance for Venezuela at asistensi, a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to this, from November 2020 to January 2022, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Evenpro. Before joining Evenpro, Erika was the Co-founder and CFO of Epicentro Business Center from January 2013 to October 2020. Erika also founded and served as CEO of Cobijita.com from January 2014 to December 2017. Erika's earlier roles include serving as the Chief Financial Officer and Board Member at URBANIZADORA MARHUANTA from April 2005 to December 2012, and as the Co-Founder and Managing Partner at CALMI from June 2004 to December 2009. Erika began their career at BP, where they held the positions of Latin America Planning and Performance Analyst from September 1999 to September 2002, and Business Analyst from October 1998 to September 1999. Erika also worked as a Risk Management Assistant at CAF from June 1998 to October 1998, and as an Assistant Economist at Superintendencia para la Promoción y Protección de la Libre Competencia PROCOMPETENCIA from September 1997 to April 1998.

Erika Berzins has a diverse education history. In 1993, they attended the University of Arkansas for the Spring International Language Center program. Erika then went on to study at Colegio Cristo Rey | Altamira from 1982 to 1993, where they completed their high school education. In 1994, Erika attended UCAB - Universidad Católica Andrés Bello and obtained a degree in Economics between 1994 and 1999. Continuing their education, they pursued an International MBA at IE Business School from 2002 to 2003, specializing in Entrepreneurship.

In addition to their formal education, Erika Berzins has obtained various certifications. In 1997, they completed the Welfare Economics and Public Finance certification at UCAB - Universidad Católica Andrés Bello. Erika also obtained the Business Planning and Balance ScoreCard certification from IESA in 2002. Lastly, Erika acquired the Business Analyst Nanodegree from Udacity and the Data Science & Analytics Career Paths & Certifications: First Steps certification from LinkedIn in January 2019.
