Software Engineer III - Backend Developer EMS at asistensi

Ernesto Crespo has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles.

Starting in 2005, they worked at Fundabit as a Technology Advisor for eight months. Ernesto then returned to Fundabit in 2006 as a Team Lead for nine months.

In 2007, Ernesto joined AIT DST PDVSA, where they took on multiple roles including Systems Administrator, Team Lead, Software Architect, and Instructor. Ernesto remained with the company until 2010.

From 2010 to 2011, they worked at 0269 as a Systems Administrator, specializing in security services.

Ernesto then joined Cenditel in 2011 as a Software Developer for thirteen months.

In 2014, they had a short-term role as a Technology Manager at Infocentro Foundation for six months.

Also in 2014, Ernesto began working at PDVSA Oil Company as a Maintenance Analyst until 2016. During their time at PDVSA, they developed a geochemical analysis Web application, worked on a digital oil field proof of concept, and designed architecture for web Scada.

After leaving PDVSA, they worked at Troc Global as a BI Developer from 2018 to 2019. Here, they accelerated decision-making processes through the development of modules and APIs for EDA, PCA, and predictive analysis.

From 2019 to 2021, Ernesto was an AWS Cloud Engineer at Escala24x7 Inc. Ernesto improved customer service, developed AWS APIs, and created data lakes for various purposes, such as call system searches and sales inquiries.

In 2021, they joined Asistensi as a Software Engineer III - Team Lead EMS. Here, they focused on bug fixing and support services for the medical emergency management tool. Ernesto also improved the medical prescription service through the design and development of the Medikit API integration. In 2022, they transitioned to the role of Software Engineer III - Backend Developer EMS, where they further enhanced the engineering software process in EMS systems.

Throughout their career, Ernesto has worked with various tech stacks, including Django, Django-rest framework, postgreSQL, SQL, Docker, AWS Lambda, Python, pandas, numpy, FastAPI, Streamlit, and more.

Ernesto Crespo obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Systems and Automatic from Universidad de Carabobo, where they studied from 1990 to 2001.

In addition to their formal education, Ernesto has also pursued various certifications. In July 2023, they completed several certifications from DataCamp, including "Building Chatbots in Python," "Data Engineer," "Database Design," "Feature Engineering for NLP in Python," "Introduction to Natural Language Processing in Python," "Large Language Models (LLMs) Concepts," "Linear Classifiers in Python," "Natural Language Processing in Python," "Sentiment Analysis in Python," "Supervised Learning with scikit-learn," and "Unsupervised Learning in Python." Ernesto also completed certifications in "Cleaning Data in Python," "Introduction to Git," "Intermediate Importing Data in Python," "Introduction to Importing Data in Python," "Introduction to Relational Databases in SQL," "Understanding Cloud Computing," "Advanced NLP with spaCy," and "Data Analyst in SQL" between March and July 2023. Additionally, Ernesto obtained the "B2-C1_Advanced" certification from ABA English in March 2023.
