Alex Arkhipov

VP, Software Engineering at Ask Media Group

Alex is a passionate technologist and a visionary engineering leader. He brings more than 25 years of software development, architecture, and management experience. He started his career as a software engineer working on embedded systems, high-profile Microsoft projects, published technical papers, and pioneered .NET adoption efforts. Later, he moved on to open-source development, focusing on architecture and development best practices. He built and led engineering teams at such companies as Ancestry and Dictionary.com, as well as at several start-ups. After his latest start-up successfully exited in 2021, he decided to come back under the IAC wing and joined Ask Media Group as a VP of Engineering, based in Oakland, CA. Alex received an M.S. in Computer Science (Applied Mathematics) from the Russian Technological University in Moscow.
