Chunxiao Yu has a wealth of experience in the field of protein sciences. From 2018 to the present, they have served as Director, Principal Scientist, Senior Scientist, and Scientist at ASKGENE Pharma, Inc. In 2017, they volunteered for the Chinese Antibody Society: The Gateway to Chinese Therapeutic Antibodies Globalization. From 2014 to the present, they have held various roles at Harvard Medical School, including Postdoctoral Fellow, Vice President of the HMS-CSSA, and Vice Chair of Liaison and Chair of the HMS/HSDM Postdoctoral Association. Finally, from 2009 to 2014, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at Boston University, where they built up the regulation network of gonococcal virulence factors during infection for new drug targets, screened and characterized new vaccine targets of Neisseria gonorrhoeae, and investigated the innate immune response to Neisseria gonorrhoeae.
Chunxiao Yu received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from the University of Vermont in 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Shandong University in 2002. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate of Clinic Trial Design from The Harvard Clinical and Transnational Science Center in September 2015, and a Clinical Research Certificate from Boston College in June 2015.
