Jessica Williamson

Jessica Williamson serves as the Head of US Protein Sciences at UCB, having progressed through various leadership roles since July 2018, where responsibilities include overseeing Protein Expression and Purification at the R&D Boston Hub. Prior to UCB, Jessica held the position of Group Leader I in Protein Purification at Beryllium and worked as a Research Scientist II at Harvard Medical School, focusing on the structural basis of electron transport and developing methodologies for protein expression and purification. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University and a Pro Certificate in Drug Discovery and Development from Harvard Medical School. Early career experiences include roles at Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Colby College, contributing to cancer genetics research and biochemical studies, respectively.
