Doug Schantz

Doug Schantz is a seasoned executive in clinical operations with extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations at Asklepios BioPharmaceutical, Inc. since July 2022, Doug leads a multi-disciplinary team focused on clinical trial management and gene therapy development. Prior roles include Vice President of Clinical Operations at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, where Doug oversaw project management across various rare disease therapy areas, and Executive Director at AstraZeneca, managing US Site Management for Phase I through III programs. Doug's career also includes significant leadership roles at Pfizer, where responsibilities spanned multiple therapeutic areas and development phases, and earlier positions at Eli Lilly and Emergency Medical Offices. Doug holds a BA in Public Administration/Healthcare Management from Kean University.
