Lisa Aimone

Lisa Aimone is an accomplished professional in the field of pharmacology with extensive experience in drug discovery and translational medicine. Currently serving as the Director of In Vivo Models at Asklepios BioPharmaceutical, Inc. since April 2019, Lisa plays a pivotal role in advancing gene therapy solutions for genetic diseases. Previously, Lisa worked as a Translational Scientist at Teva Pharmaceuticals, where responsibilities included the development of pharmacokinetic profiles and optimization of dosing strategies for small molecule compounds. Lisa's career also includes significant roles at Cephalon, Sterling Winthrop Pharmaceuticals, and an early position at UC San Diego, contributing to in vivo model development and research leadership. Lisa holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Iowa, completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine, and earned a B.S. in Biology from Indiana University Bloomington, along with a Project Management certificate from Penn State Great Valley.
