Melissa Murrell

Melissa Murrell currently serves as the Chief People Officer at Asklepios BioPharmaceutical, Inc. since July 2021, overseeing Total Rewards, HR Technology, Operations, and Payroll. Prior to this role, Melissa held various positions at Spark Therapeutics, Inc. from September 2017 to July 2021, including People Services and Technology Lead. Before that, a significant tenure at Shire spanned from May 2009 to September 2017, where Melissa progressed through various roles such as Associate Director of Compensation Operations and Total Rewards Consultant. Melissa obtained an MS in Human Resources and I/O Psychology and a BA in Psychology from Villanova University, along with a PHR certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute.
