Carter Ward has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. In 2017, they worked as an Intramural Sports Supervisor at Virginia Tech, where they supervised and facilitated over 200 faculty, staff, and student participants. Carter also served as the Entertainment Chair for the Class of 2020 Leadership Team, organizing and celebrating events unique to each class at Virginia Tech.

In 2019, they interned as a Sponsorship Intern at Live Nation Entertainment, where they managed sponsorship inventory, created presentations for prospective sponsors, and developed templates for Live Nation venues.

From 2017 to 2017, they interned as a Financial Representative at Northwestern Mutual, where they built lasting relationships with clients and made financial decisions in their best interest.

From 2020 to 2022, they worked as a Marketing Associate at CRC Companies, creating marketing collateral, writing press releases, and implementing strategies for reputation management.

In 2012, they co-founded Fordson Labs, a platform where they interacted with various aspects of the entertainment industry, building relationships with venues and other creatives while showcasing shows and music releases on social media platforms.

Currently, Carter is working at ASM Global as a Community Events / Booking Coordinator, responsible for booking, contracting, marketing, and facilitating community arts events. Carter also oversees the calendar and date hold priorities for a black box theater.

Carter Ward attended Virginia Tech from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business with a focus on Marketing/Management. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications including Introduction to Graphic Design from LinkedIn in April 2020, Advanced Google Analytics from Google in September 2019, Inbound Marketing from HubSpot in September 2019, Google Ads Video from Google in October 2019, and Google Ads Search from Google in September 2019.
