Kejuan Washington

Kejuan Washington, M.S. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Kejuan began their career in 2014 as the Director of Football Operations at Plaquemine High School Athletics, where they organized and managed team travel, student-athlete eligibility, special events, and summer football camps. Kejuan also served as the Press Box Supervisor, attending to guest coaches and visiting media.

In 2015, Kejuan joined the LSU AgCenter, taking on various positions including Parish Leader, Ranking Member on the Foundation Board of Supervisors, Advisory Council Member, Interim Program Director, and Chairman of the Junior Leaders Club. During their time at LSU AgCenter, they demonstrated commitment to guiding and developing young people while ensuring proper financial oversight and providing program staff with a fresh perspective.

In 2016, Kejuan worked as a Public Relations Agent at ImPRint Communications at LSU. In this role, they liaised between clients and the public, establishing cooperative relationships with various stakeholders and writing press releases.

Kejuan then joined Louisiana State University (LSU) in 2017 as an Assistant Game/Event Manager in Athletics Game Operations/Event Management. Kejuan was responsible for the operations and production of home athletic events, operated the stadium command center during football games, and served as the Game/Event Manager for LSU Track and Field meets. Kejuan was also elected as a Senator, representing LSU's senior colleges and addressing various student issues.

In 2019, Kejuan briefly worked as a Branch Operations Assistant & Event Manager at Landmark Event Staffing Services Inc, where they managed the operations and security of home LSU athletics events.

In 2020, Kejuan held roles at BREC and LSU. At BREC, they served as a Recreation Facility Center Supervisor, promoting and supervising center programs while maintaining positive public relations. At LSU, they worked as an Event Management Assistant, representing the interests of Athletics Administration and assisting in the planning and organization of home athletic events.

In 2021, Kejuan joined Official ASM Global as an Operations Coordinator, where they oversee various aspects of operations, including supervision, event coordination, equipment maintenance, and customer service.

Kejuan also had brief experiences at Tulane University Athletics as a Video Replay Technician and the Women's National Invitation Tournament as a Site Coordinator.

Throughout their career, Kejuan has demonstrated strong organizational and leadership skills, along with a commitment to customer service and the overall success of the organizations they have been a part of.

Kejuan Washington, M.S. has a diverse education history. Kejuan obtained their High School Diploma from The Iberville Parish Mathematics, Science & Arts Academy - West in the year 2016. After that, they pursued a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies degree from Louisiana State University, specializing in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management, Leadership & Human Resources Development, and History. Kejuan completed their undergraduate studies in 2020.

In 2017, Kejuan also participated in the Louisiana Wetlands Ambassador program offered by the Louisiana Sea Grant Program. This program focused on environmental sustainability. Continuing their education, Kejuan pursued a Master of Science degree in Sport Management from Baker University, which they completed in 2022. Kejuan further enhanced their knowledge by earning a Certificate in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Florida Atlantic University in 2021.

Kejuan has also obtained several additional certifications to complement their education. In 2019, they received a Certificate of Counter Terrorist Education from the LSU National Center for Biomedical Research and Training. Additionally, in 2021, they obtained a Mandatory Reporter certification from the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services. Finally, in 2022, Kejuan received a Forklift Certification from the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
