Kristofer Beck

Kristofer Beck has extensive work experience in various technical roles. Kristofer began their career at Dakota State University, where they worked as a Doctoral Research Assistant, Help Desk Technician, Healthcare Risk Assessment Analyst, and Research Graduate Assistant. Kristofer gained expertise in troubleshooting technology issues, maintaining hardware and software, and supporting network systems.

Following their time at Dakota State University, Beck joined Daktronics as a Sales Service Support Engineer. In this role, they excelled in customer service, teaching, and training, and achieved top rankings in call response rates and knowledge base article creation. Kristofer also worked closely with third-party companies to integrate their products into Daktronics' offerings.

Beck then joined Brookings Blizzard as a Control Systems Technician, where they were responsible for resolving video, audio, and broadcast-related issues. Kristofer implemented technology upgrades and sponsorship offerings and streamlined broadcasting and data tools.

Kristofer later joined Summit Food Service Management as an Installation Support & Customer Trainer, providing technical support to county correctional facilities and warehouses. Kristofer traveled to different sites to address technical issues and coordinated with various vendors.

Beck then worked at Raven Industries as an IT Service Technician III, specializing in SCCM and Avecto for deployment and application whitelisting. Kristofer managed firmware updates, endpoint policies, and new user onboarding processes. Kristofer also had experience with microservices deployment on Linux.

Kristofer joined Midco Sports Network as a Crew House Associate, supporting various sporting events and operating live broadcasts. Beck covered a range of local sports and operated scoring systems.

Beck's next role was as an Audio Visual Technician at ASM Global, where they provided audio-visual support.

Kristofer then joined SDN Communications as a Managed Services Data Technician. In this role, they monitored and remediated alerts generated by SIEM software and took ownership of issues related to network services. Kristofer also worked closely with customers, conducted independent research, and collaborated effectively within a team.

Beck's most recent role is at Sanford Health, where they assist with event production for the Pentagon facilities. Their responsibilities include camera operation, replay, and show control for various events, including basketball tournaments and the NBA G-league.

Overall, Beck has proven expertise in technical support, troubleshooting, customer service, and project coordination. Kristofer has demonstrated the ability to work independently or as part of a team and excels in adapting to new technologies and environments.

Kristofer Beck holds a Masters of Science degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from Capella University. Kristofer also completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems and a Master of Science degree in Information Assurance (Network Security) from Dakota State University. Additionally, Kristofer pursued postgraduate studies in Computer Science at South Dakota State University. Kristofer is currently a doctoral candidate at Capella University. Furthermore, Kristofer has obtained several certifications, including NSE 3 Network Associate and NSE 3 Network Security Associate from Fortinet, as well as RHCE from Red Hat.
