Marilia Juarbe - Jiménez

Marilia Juarbe-Jiménez has a diverse work experience ranging from event management to sales and hospitality. Their most recent position was as an Assistant General Manager at Official ASM Global, a role they started in December 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Owner of 6th Player Sports and Events Management, Inc for 13 years, where they organized local, national, and international events and congresses.

Marilia also worked as an Account Executive at Expo Gallery from September 2018 to August 2021, where they specialized in the design, management, and assembly of corporate exhibits. Additionally, they worked as an Event Producer for BSN Productions, LLC for a brief period in 2020, overseeing logistic operations, housing, and basketball operations for the Puerto Rico BSN season.

Earlier in their career, Marilia held roles such as Event, Housing & Logistics Manager at the Federación de Baloncesto de Puerto Rico from June 2017 to September 2020, and Local Event Director at Continental Events & Sports Management from November 2011 to July 2020. Marilia also gained experience in corporate housing and logistics management at QMC Telecom and Whitefish Energy Holdings, LLC.

Marilia has a background in sales, hospitality, and client services, having worked as Sales- Players Services & Hospitality at Global Golf Management for nine years. Marilia was also a Local Event Manager at ESPN, where they contributed to the successful execution of local events.

Throughout their career, Marilia has developed expertise in various areas including sports, sales and marketing, hospitality and customer service, health and safety, and government permits. Marilia is known for their strong organizational and logistical skills, as well as their ability to handle multiple projects and ensure compliance with COVID-19 protocols.

Marilia Juarbe - Jiménez obtained a Bachelor's degree in Humanities/Humanistic Studies from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras, from 1994 to 1999. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in International Hotel Administration from Les Roches, Swiss Hotel Management School, from 2000 to 2001. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a Change Management Foundations certification from LinkedIn in October 2021.
