Miftah Faried

Miftah Faried is a skilled Process Engineer at ASM since December 2022, focusing on the research and development of semiconductor patterning using Plasma Enhanced Atomic Layer Deposition, particularly with titanium and silicon oxide. Prior experience includes serving as a researcher at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology from January 2021 to November 2022, where Miftah established organometallic and olefin metathesis reactions for polymer degradation applications. As a PhD researcher at Osaka University from October 2017 to September 2020, Miftah applied nanomaterial utility and Membrane Surface-Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy using lipid liposomes. Miftah's early career included teaching chemistry at the Global Learning Center from June 2013 to February 2015. Miftah holds a Doctor's degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Osaka, is pursuing a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, and attained a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Universitas Gadjah Mada.
