Mary Maffei

Mary Maffei's work experience includes serving as a Prosthetics Design Team Lead at ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers) since June 2023, where they work with a team of student engineers to design and develop prosthetic hand iterations. Mary also serves as the Academic Outreach Chair, working with professors to compile resources for students preparing for the Fundamentals of Engineering exam.

Mary has previously worked as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Thermo Fisher Scientific starting in May 2023 and as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Purdue University since January 2023.

Before their current roles, Mary gained experience as a Server at SandBar Hull from May 2022 to August 2022 and as a Hostess and Server at Black Rock Country Club from March 2019 to August 2021.

Mary Maffei attended Purdue University from 2020 to 2024, pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering.
