Satish Patel

Satish Patel currently serves as the ASME Energy Project Director, leading a 33-member team on four sustainability projects and coordinating various technical and educational initiatives. Previously, as a Design Lead for the ASME Rainergy Project, Satish directed a team in creating a high-performance water turbine, and as a CAD Engineer on the PowerPath Team, Satish developed renewable energy solutions with piezoelectric tiles. In addition, Satish has gained internship experience at Purdue Applied Research Institute LLC focusing on advanced packaging design, at GlobalFoundries analyzing process engineering, and during an undergraduate research role focused on EV battery safety under Dr. Partha Mukherjee. Satish holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, with a variety of experience in design, research, and engineering principles.
