Yash Saxena

Yash Saxena is a Mechanical Engineering student at Purdue University, expected to graduate in May 2027. Currently, Yash serves as the Bodywork System Owner and an Aerodynamics Team Member for Purdue Formula SAE, while also holding various leadership roles at ASME, including Director of Finance and Chief Engineer. Experience includes performing as an EV Grand Prix Driver & Engineer and leading autonomous drone systems design. Yash has interned at Michelin, successfully designing an automated material packaging repair apparatus and leading projects aimed at improving manufacturing processes. Additionally, Yash founded Valorous Company, engaged in undergraduate research focused on neural networks, and contributed to the Purdue Electric Vehicle Club by designing battery architecture. Previous roles include grading at Kumon and serving as Head Captain for the Doral Academy VEX Robotics Team, guiding underclassmen in robotics competitions.
