Wendy Sjonger

Wendy Sjonger is an experienced leader in risk management, currently serving as the Lead Integrated Risk Management at ASN Bank since November 2023, overseeing a team focused on ICAAP, ILAAP, and capital stress testing. Wendy holds a board position at Stichting pensioenfonds SNS REAAL and has previously contributed significantly at de Volksbank as Product Owner Integrated Long Term Risk and in other risk-related roles, including Recovery and Resolution Planning. Formerly, Wendy held various positions at ABN AMRO Bank N.V., starting as a Management Trainee and advancing to Head of Financial Consultancy, demonstrating expertise in Basel II and corporate finance advisory. Wendy's academic credentials include a Postgraduate Master of Science in Risk Management from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Master's in Law from Leiden University, among other qualifications in management and finance.
