Olivier Goguel has a diverse and extensive work experience in the video game and technology industry. Olivier started their career as a Technology Development Manager at Argonaut Software Ltd in 2004. Olivier then worked as a Consultant at SolidGame, providing technical and management advice to the game industry from 2002 to 2005. Olivier then served as the Technical Director in the Mobile Game Department at Lagardere Active from 2005 to 2007.
In 2007, they joined Cellfish Media as the Technical Director of the Mobile Games & Applications Department before becoming the VP of Technology at Mimesis Republic later that same year. Olivier played a key role in the growth and success of these companies in the mobile game sector.
In 2013, Olivier became a Co-Founder of Amity Game Studio, where they focused on the development of CENTURY, a fast-paced multiplayer game for PC and consoles. During this time, they gained experience with Unity 3D and the Unreal Engine.
Olivier joined BeTomorrow in 2014 as a Program Manager, overseeing various projects until 2016. Olivier also worked at Microsoft during this period as a Cordova/Unity Expert for Azure Mobile Engagement. Olivier was responsible for the development of Cordova and Unity SDKs and worked closely with customers to integrate the SDKs.
Since 2016, Olivier has been working at HoloForge Interactive as the CTO. Olivier played a crucial role in setting up the AR department at Asobo Studio and defining the HoloForge technical strategy. Olivier has also led the R&D effort to raise the technical barriers in various key areas of AR development.
In 2021, Olivier returned to Asobo Studio as the Technical Director for an unannounced project, showcasing their continued expertise and involvement in the video game industry.

In 1989 to 1990, Olivier attended Université de Bourgogne and obtained a DUT Informatique degree.
From 1991 to 1993, Olivier pursued a Licence & Master Degree in Computing at Université de Bourgogne.
In 1993, Olivier attended Newcastle University and completed a BSc (Hons) degree in Computing.
In addition to their formal education, Olivier has also obtained additional certifications. In December 2016, they received the BULATS - CEFR - C2 certification from Cambridge Assessment English. Furthermore, in May 2013, Olivier completed the Functional Programming Principles in Scala course offered by Coursera.
