Thomas Cunningham

Thomas Cunningham is an experienced engineering professional with a background in automation, mechanical engineering, and product introduction. Currently serving as an Automation Engineer and previously as a New Product Introduction Engineer at Aspen Aerogels, Thomas has a proven track record in engineering change releases, fixture design, and program updates. Prior roles include Mechanical Engineer II and I at Smith+Nephew, where contributions included optimizing manufacturing processes, training personnel, and implementing digital work instruction platforms. Thomas also served as a CAD Technician II at Pike Engineering and gained skills in rapid prototyping and laboratory coordination during early career roles. Thomas holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Physics from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
