Hamid Rastegar has over 30 years of experience in environmental issues associated with major industrial and infrastructure facilities. Hamid is the co-founder and majority owner of Aspen Environmental Group, where they currently serve as the President and CEO. Prior to this, they worked at Jacobs Engineering as the Director of Hazardoud Waste and Toxic Materials from 1981 to 1989. Before that, they were an Environmental Scientist at Environmental Resources Group (ERG), where they conducted environmental and technical assessments for energy and infrastructure projects. Hamid'sprojects included marine terminals, alternative energy sources, oil and gas development, and offshore energy development.
Hamid Rastegar pursued their education in environmental science and engineering, demonstrating a commitment to this field. Hamid attended the Florida Institute of Technology from 1973 to 1976, where they earned a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering. Building on this accomplishment, they then enrolled at UCLA from 1977 to 1981, completing their Doctorate in Environmental Science and Engineering. These educational pursuits equipped Hamid Rastegar with a strong foundation in their chosen field.
