Elizabeth S Johnson

Elizabeth S Johnson is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in psychological research and care. Currently serving as a Theoretical Psychology Research Assistant at BYU Psychology Department, Elizabeth evaluates theoretical foundations for therapeutic methods and advocates for alternative approaches. Additionally, Elizabeth works as a Care Specialist & Safety Coordinator at Provo Canyon Behavioral Hospital, specializing in de-escalation techniques and intra-hospital communication. Previous roles include Teaching Assistant at Brigham Young University and Research Assistant at Emergent Analytics, where Elizabeth utilized innovative interviewing techniques for social research. As an Ethnographer, Elizabeth designed and conducted in-depth research within the Hmong community, developing strong qualitative analysis skills. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociocultural Anthropology from Brigham Young University and an Associate of Arts in Psychology from Brigham Young University - Idaho.
