George Baker

Lead Instructor at Aspen Medical

George Baker is an experienced professional in public and environmental health, currently serving as a Sessional Lecturer and Course Content Developer at La Trobe University since May 2024 and as a Deployable Health Instructor for Aspen Medical since March 2023. With a strong background in environmental health, George has developed and implemented lesson plans for Defence Force practitioners and provided expert guidance on various health equipment. Prior roles include Public Health Officer focused on flood recovery with the Municipal Association of Victoria, Graduate Researcher Academic Associate for the International WaterCentre, and a range of positions at Aspen Medical dealing with infection prevention, control, and environmental health in various settings. George holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health from La Trobe University and is pursuing a Master of Public Health at Griffith University, alongside obtaining a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
