Laura Smith

Laura Smith has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Laura began their career as an Editorial Assistant at Little, Brown and Company in 1991, where they worked until 1993. Following that, they joined Aspen Magazine as an Associate Editor and remained in that role until 1995. Laura then pursued freelance work as a Writer and Editor from 1995 to 1996. In 1996, they joined the Aspen Music Festival and School as a Marketing Associate, eventually working their way up to the position of Publications Manager in 1999. From 2002 to 2013, Laura served as the Director of Marketing and Public Relations at the Aspen Music Festival and School, after which they assumed the role of Vice President for Marketing and Communications.

Laura Smith attended Wilde Lake High School from 1983 to 1987. Laura then pursued a Bachelor's degree in American History at Harvard University from 1987 to 1991.
