Paul Allvin

Vice President for Strategic Communications and Marketing at George Mason University

Paul Allvin serves as the Vice President and Chief Brand Officer at George Mason University since May 2020. Prior to this role, Paul owned Cloud-2-Ground, a firm specializing in branding for charitable organizations. Extensive experience includes positions such as Senior Vice President of Brand Advancement at USO, where Paul led brand strategy and communications, and Vice President of Communications & Knowledge Management at America's Promise Alliance, focusing on youth success initiatives. Earlier roles included Vice President of Brand Advancement at Make-A-Wish America, Associate Vice President of Communications at The University of Arizona, and positions in the Office of Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano. Paul began a career in communications with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Arizona Students' Association. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Journalism with a minor in Political Science from the University of Arizona.
