Mike Mermagen

Mike Mermagen is an accomplished cellist and professor currently serving as a Professor of Cello at the UMKC Conservatory of Music and Dance since August 2017 and holding a faculty position at the Aspen Music Festival and School since June 1991. Previously, Mike was an Associate Professor at The Catholic University of America from August 2005 to August 2017. Mike's academic credentials include a Master of Music in Music Performance from The Juilliard School, obtained between 1985 and 1987, and a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance from the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University, completed between 1980 and 1984.
