Aspen Music Festival and School
Samuel Williams serves as Affiliate Faculty at Metropolitan State University of Denver since August 2014, teaching courses on Woodwind Techniques and Pedagogy, History of Rock and Roll, Introduction to Music Technology, and Music Technology for Educators. In addition, Samuel has been a Saxophone Fellow at the Aspen Music Festival and School since June 2013 and maintains a self-employed career as a Saxophonist and Music Educator since 2001. Previous experience includes serving as Music Director and Orchestra Musician for Azamara Club Cruises from July 2012 to January 2013 and working as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Northern Colorado from 2008 to 2011. Samuel holds a Master's degree in Saxophone Performance and Jazz Studies from the University of Northern Colorado and a Bachelor's degree in Saxophone Performance from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
