Camilo Hernández Ortiz

Camilo Hernández Ortiz has extensive experience in supply chain and logistics management. Camilo worked at Aspen Pharma Group as Head of Supply Chain & Logistics for the Andean region, where they were responsible for end-to-end supply chain operations. Camilo also served as the Gerente de Operaciones at Biotronitech Colombia S.A., overseeing equipment and medical device supply chain processes. Additionally, they held positions at Procaps and Eurociencia Colombia S.A., where they focused on inventory management, procurement, and distribution. Throughout their career, Camilo has demonstrated strong negotiation skills and a commitment to meeting customer needs within the supply chain sector.

Camilo Hernández Ortiz completed their undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes from 2000 to 2006. Camilo pursued their specialization in Logistics Management from Universidad de La Sabana in 2010-2011. Additionally, they completed a program in Executive Logistics Management from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2008. Camilo also obtained certifications as an Internal Auditor for Integrated HSEQ Management from Bureau Veritas in 2016 and as an Internal Auditor for Quality Management from Icontec International in 2011. Finally, they completed their postgraduate teaching degree from Politécnico Grancolombiano from 2015 to 2019.
